RedBook is Delighted to Welcome its new Head of Property, Poppy Chenevix-Trench

21 Mar 2023
The New Year has seen a new start for Poppy Chenevix-Trench as Head of Property at RedBook, the experts in launching prime-property projects. She spent the last 10 years at Savills, most recently as Head of Communications for The Private Office.

‘We are truly delighted to have Poppy on board,’ says Tom Adams, RedBook’s CEO. ‘Anyone who meets her immediately senses her great professionalism, drive and magnetic personality along with her passion for design. She could not be better suited for her role in strengthening RedBook’s ties with the leading property experts in the UK and abroad.

RedBook is currently advising on nearly 60 live property projects and, since its launch in 2010 has completed over 270 others.  Since joining the business in 2020, its CEO Tom Adams has been delivering on his remit by significantly scaling the business both in the UK and overseas, offering ‘end-to-end solutions’ for affluent property owners about to embark on the exciting adventure of building a new home or refurbishing one.

The role of Head of Property will see Poppy working collaboratively with her network of industry professionals, including buying agents and selling agents, to give their clients confidence in the projects they are about to embark on. Using RedBook’s roster of best-in-class partners–over 200 leading firms of architects, interior designers, project managers and other key project specialists—the firm brings clients’ vision for their homes to life, advising them at the outset on what is attainable within their budget comprehensively and transparently, then assembling their project team before guiding the project throughout its course to a successful end

“When I first came across RedBook a couple of years ago, I wished I had known about the firm when I was renovating my own Grade II-listed house.”

“Here we are a couple of years later, and I am thrilled to be part of the team as Head of Property. They are the authority at what they do, their experience is unrivalled, and they are professional to their core. I am very proud to be working with such a great team,’ says Poppy.

She adds: ‘My 10 years at Savills were unforgettable. I worked with some of the industry’s most outstanding sales agents and was part of launching world-class developments. It was a great start to my career in property. Having recently completed my interior design course at KLC, I felt ready for a new chapter. RedBook encompasses everything I love about the industry: the people, the creativity and the property.’

Alex Christian, Head of London for Savills Private Office, says ‘I do not doubt that Poppy will be a fantastic asset to RedBook and that she will excel at looking after both new and existing clients. Throughout her decade-long career at Savills, she repeatedly proved that her client care was exemplary and that her tenacity and forward-thinking will serve the business well. Savills very much looks forward to continuing its very close working relationship with the RedBook team.’

Poppy lives in North Essex with her young family and enjoys escaping to the outdoors for adventures. Tom Adams comments, ‘At RedBook, we believe it is hugely important for each team member to have personal experience of property projects so they fully understand their challenges and joys and can therefore give clients truly informed advice. Poppy has not only refurbished her own country home but studied interior design and been brought up by a mother who is an interior designer. So Poppy could not be better qualified for her role.’
