I had always been aware of RedBook and its offering; however, further discussions with Tom and Phil, and learning more about the business, opened my eyes to the depth of what they provide and the tangible benefits they deliver across the sector.
I see this as twofold. On a broader, more personal level, I’m excited to be involved in some of the projects RedBook offers and to work with some best-in-class designers and architects whose work I’ve followed for many years.
Secondly, there’s a real sense of momentum within RedBook around developing new ideas in an industry that can sometimes feel resistant to change. Industry-first initiatives like the RedBook Index are particularly exciting to be part of.
Our London-based studio previously offered a full-service design and management solution from concept through to completion, delivering high-value residential and commercial projects across London and in the country. Integrating architecture and interiors, we collaborated closely with all consultants, aiming to deliver cohesive, considered outcomes for our clients while navigating construction complexities.
My experience running my own studio, I hope, will be of real benefit in supporting teams and guiding clients through projects with a balanced approach.
Having spent the last decade on the delivery side, I hope to bring an understanding of creative ambition while remaining mindful of commercial considerations and delivery realities.
Having recently welcomed our first addition to the family, most of my time outside of work is spent with my wife and son, which has been an exciting new adventure and a constant source of inspiration in itself.
Outside of that, I’m an avid golfer and a big sports enthusiast, so whenever I can find the time, I enjoy getting involved in anything active.
